The Z-8S GTX is the most famous tall and versatile footwear of its series, which comes into its own in challenging and varied conditions. Even the most demanding professionals, hunters, adventurers swear by the name of this handcrafted shoe, and for good reason: the shoes are incredibly light, stable, flexible and supportive. This light and versatile shoe is in its element on hard hunting trips, long hikes, and official use.


In addition to support, the tall, 8-inch stem offers good protection against water, snow and shocks, while still being light and supple to walk on. The back of the shaft is made of cordura fabric, thanks to which the shoe flexes nicely with the step and feels feather-light, soft and extremely comfortable on the foot. The lower part of the shoe, on the other hand, is 2.2 mm thick, durable and flexible cowhide. The shoes' GORE-TEX membrane and fabric inner lining are a breathable and practical combination - feet stay dry in all weathers.


The shoe fits like a glove, no wonder. Thanks to the injection-molded rubber sole, the lacing that reaches far enough down, and the patented Monowrap structure that wraps around the shoe, the step is particularly stable, sturdy and grippy on any terrain. The cushioning midsole and padded loose insoles make walking light and pleasant.

Outsole rubber too hard

Z-8S GTX C boots felt very good when I tried them in a shop.. and that's why bought them.
So disappointment was big when I started to actually use them.

Outsole rubber is so hard that these boots can only be comfortably used when on softer surface.
Walking on for example asphalt feels unpleasant and destroys my feet.
Thats a pity because other parts of these boots seems to be in a good level of comfort and quality.

So if you plan to use these only in forest there is no problem.
If the shoes are going for general use and hiking in various terrain and surfaces, you might want to look something else.
