INTERNAL CLOSED WATER WASTE CIRCULATION SYSTEM

Water is the driving force of all nature. In Switzerland, we strive to reduce our environmental impact and incorporate sustainable solutions into our daily operations. At our factory in Naistenfeld, the water used to clean the bottles is collected in a closed system and recycled.

QUALITY AND SAFETY

Manual quality control ensures that all bottles leaving our production line are in perfect condition. In addition, all our products go through a strict testing procedure that ensures safety from chemicals such as estrogen-like substances, BPA and phthalates.

REUSE, RECYCLE, REPEAT

We all know the importance of recycling. It saves resources and reduces environmental impact. At SIGG, we care about recycling and ensure that the small amount of waste generated from the production of our aluminum bottles is collected and 100% recycled. After the aluminum bottle has been produced and enjoyed for many years, its frame can be recycled again!

PCR MATERIAL

In order for SIGG to further reduce its carbon footprint, we have switched to using PCR aluminum in our entire range of aluminum bottles. All our aluminum bottles are made from 100% recycled material.

DESIGN

SIGG manufactures products that meet modern tastes and at the same time set new standards. The unique design of SIGG bottles has already achieved cult status. This has been confirmed at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, where two SIGG bottles are on display in a permanent exhibition.

CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

The Swiss design team is constantly developing new products, paying attention to constantly changing customer needs and new trends. The design process is divided into five stages. It starts with thorough research, especially on two key questions: What are the customers' needs? What features should the new product have in order to meet these needs?

Once the answers have been found, the idea phase begins. Now the initial drafts and sketches of the new product are created. In the next phase - the concept phase - the goals to be pursued in subsequent product development are defined. Different solutions are developed and tested.

MATERIALS

Aluminum

Aluminum

SIGG aluminum Drinking bottles are made from one high-quality material
from a piece of recycled aluminum. This light metal is considered approx
unbroken. The inner coating is resistant to fruit acids, can be stored
its tastelessness and is free from harmful chemicals. All
aluminum bottles are manufactured in our own factory in Frauenfeld,
in Switzerland and can be recycled.

18/8 stainless steel

18/8 stainless steel

SIGG uses high-quality stainless steel in all its vacuum-insulated thermos flasks. 18/8 stainless steel is extremely durable and represents timeless elegance. Drinking bottles made of stainless steel
are also a hygienic option. The material also does not collect odors. When the stainless steel bottle has become reliable
partner for years, you can completely recycle it at the end of its life. SIGG has also started using recycled stainless steel in the new Shield Therm One bottles. The introduction of recycled material is yet another step forward in the field of responsibility.

Tritan

Tritan

The patented plastic material Tritan is completely free of harmful substances
pollutants such as estrogen-activating substances and phthalates.
The material looks like glass, but is light as a feather, unbreakable,
tasteless and odorless and dishwasher safe up to 90 °C.
Like all our other materials, Tritan is recyclable.

Polypropylene

Polypropylene

Polypropylene is a very strong and flexible plastic material that
used e.g. In Pulsar and VIVA products. High-quality and reusable drinking bottles made of transparent polypropylene are recyclable and free of harmful substances.
