Women's calves start lower than men's. For this reason, the model MAURIA EVO GTX Ws is equipped with a specially padded edge. This is both softer and more flexible.
Thanks to the softer inner part used in the heel and forefoot areas, the bi-density sole creates extra cushioning, while the rest of the sole provides the stability the user needs with a harder inner part.
LOWA has also integrated a GORE-TEX inner lining that keeps water and fire out from the inside. MAURIA EVO GTX Ws is equipped with a Vibram® sole. The Italian sole manufacturer has been one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality soles for many years.
Thanks to the two-zone lacing system, the foot and upper have their own separately adjustable lacing areas. As a result, the shoe can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.
In order for the ribbons to run flexibly and evenly through the loops, the small balls minimize friction in the metal loops.
The tongue is located where it should be - without slip or pressure points: this is what X-LACING® technology is all about. This special lacing system secures the tongue both vertically and horizontally. Since the lacing system does not depend on the height of the foot, the model is perfect for all types of feet. This technology ensures that the pressure of the strings is transferred not only to the hooks but also to the tongue.
