A light and spacious two-person tunnel tent for hikes with an ingenious arch solution and fireproof treatment

In this tent, you can enjoy a real sense of space and freedom. The length of the sleeping space is 220 cm long and 135 cm wide. The 110 cm high apse is 175 cm long and 155 cm wide. The tent has a whopping 6.3 m2 and room to breathe. Even so, the total weight of the Lighthouse tent is 3.2 kg and even 2.75 kg at its smallest (Strip weight, i.e. only the necessary things are included).

JACK WOLFSKIN's patented RT (Real Tunnel) arch solution and design add more luxury. This patent also won the Red Dot Design award for the millennium 2003. The arcs start outward from the base before bending upwards and are thicker on the sides of the tent and thinner on the top of the tent. This was tested and refined for years in Porsche's wind tunnel and finally a combination was found that greatly increases crosswind resistance. The father of the idea of ​​the arch is the fearless clown of the Outdoor world, Gerold Ringsdorf. These special arcs are implemented together with DAC.

As a byproduct, the user's elbows get considerably more space and the tent's interior volume increased enormously. When developing the tent, it was also noticed that, thanks to the better duration of the side wind, the tent does not necessarily need long erecting cords. So a method had to be developed to make the apse stand upright with shorter strings. This gave rise to the idea of ​​the so-called of corner pins, corner edges, with which small tightening triangle the corners of the apses and also the attachment points of the arches can be trimmed really tight even with a short string. This also raised the corners of the apse, increasing the interior volume of the tent again. Genius, isn't it?

The outdoor tent is coated with PU on the inside and silicone on the outside. This makes the tent's really durable ripstop fabric waterproof. The tent has one entrance, which also serves as an air valve. The entrance flap can be rolled up. Both ends also have adjustable air vents.
