The secret is the PERTEX® QUANTUM AIR surface fabric, a revolutionary material that uses a fiber mesh to create an overly tight barrier to keep water out, but allow air to escape through the fibers. All this helps you maintain a constant temperature when you pedal in difficult conditions. TEXASHIELD CORE STRETCH panels allow for wide range of motion, and POLARTEC® ALPHA insulation keeps you warm without adding weight.

• Thin mesh fabric makes it windproof while remaining highly breathable, soft and flexible. It is made of durable, smooth synthetic fibers that are particularly easy to handle.
• Nylon threads are woven into a mini-honeycomb structure, creating a tear-resistant, durable fabric that can withstand heavy use. The ultra-thin material is particularly wear-resistant, light and very easy to care for. PFC-free DWR waterproofing repels light rain and snow, meaning the material dries quickly.
